Marukei Kathuobushi Language Select







-Ingredients-
Miso paste (10-15g)
Dried Bonito Flakes (Katsuobushi)
Tofu (bean curd), seaweed, or other ingredients that you may wish to add.
Water
-Cooking Methods-
-1st STEP-
Place around 500ml of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the Dried Bonito Flakes (about 20gr) and immediately remove the pan from heat.

-2nd STEP-
Let set for about 2-3 minutes, and then strain, pressing down to remove as much liquid and flavor as possible. Discard the solids (bonito flakes)

-3rd STEP-
Cut tofu into small cubes and add them to the soup. Simmer the tofu for a few minutes on low heat. Scoop out some soup stock from the pan and dissolve miso in it.
Gradually return the miso mixture in the soup.
Stir the soup gently.

-4th STEP-
keep it boiling at low heat for 5 minutes and then serve it while is hot.
