-Global Network Due to our strategic network of suppliers and partners around the world (especially in Asia) we have been able to become one of the biggest importers and distributor of katsuobushi (raw material) in Japan and a growing distributor worldwide. In recent years, our company imports accounted for 40-50% of all the katsuobushi imported into Japan. -Global Production At Marukei we deal with many katsuobushi (dried bonito) related products such as raw materials, many kind of shaved flakes, milling products (powder, cooking stock, etc), among others. With manufacturing facilities in Japan (3 plants), China and Indonesia, we strive to address our business globally. Always focusing on quality and food safety allied with reasonable prices, we have been able to successfully distribute our products worldwide. -Food Safety At Marukei, we believe that one of our most important responsibilities is the production and distribution of safe, quality food. Food safety is a top priority for us and we take pride in employing the highest safety measures and quality controls. We closely follow the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) methodology in all our factories. We aim to comply with and use HACCP food safety controls in our operations every day. Actually our manufacturing facilities in China, Indonesia and Japan (Seaside factory n°1) are HACCP certified. We recently obtained ISO 22000 certification as well. All to make sure that we can offer you quality and safe food.
