Marukei Kathuobushi Language Select







-Ingredients-
Steamed Rice
Dried Bonito Flakes(Katsuobushi)
Soysauce
-Cooking Methods-
-1st STEP-
Mix all the Dried Bonito Flakesi and steamed rice into a large bowl and stir thoroughly.

-2nd STEP-
Wet and lightly salt your hands so that the rice wonft stick. Alternatively, you can cut a piece of plastic wrap approximately 25x25 cm and use it to mold the rice. Scoop the rice from the bowl, carefully molding into a triangle shape. Donft smash the rice, just softly work it into a triangle, by pressing lightly with your both palms and making sure the rice has been pushed together firmly enough so it doesn't fall apart when you fry it. (In this process, please be careful not to burn yourself)

-3rd STEP-
Place a thin layer of soy sauce on a large plate. Coat the rice ball with some soy sauce on both sides and place it into a frying pan with a thin layer of oil. Lightly fry or grill both sides of the rice ball. Remove the rice ball once it turns golden brown.
Serve while hot to enjoy rice ball that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
